My pedagogy stems from designing and enhancing the teaching and learning found in every conversation. We are simultaneously learning and teaching within every transaction, every collaboration, every interaction and my role is to foster an environment that enhances these conversations and results in a rich dialog. Inviting students into discovery of their own creative practice is the foundation of my teaching methodology. Each class is organized with a precise framework of goals and objectives, assignments with specific learning outcomes and a mutual understanding of assessment. It is a balance between providing the map but allowing students to create their own path.
